As of 24 June 2024, human cases of Oropouche virus have been confirmed in nine provinces and 23 municipalities of Matanzas, Mayabeque, Villa Clara, Sancti Spíritus, Ciego de Ávila, Holguín, Guantánamo, Santiago de Cuba and Cienfuegos.
