Dengue in Argentina
Between 1 January and 25 March 2024, a total of 163,419 confirmed cases of dengue have been reported from Argentina. This reflects a six times greater number of cases compared to the previous season.
Dengue in Brazil
As of 4 March 2024, a total of 1,212,263 probable cases of dengue have been reported since the start of the year. Distrito Federal reports the highest incidence rates with 4,174 probable cases per 100,000 population.
Dengue in Mexico
As of 27 February 2024, during the first seven weeks of 2024, the Ministry of Health, Mexico have reported 5,439 dengue cases, which is a 468% increase compared to the equivalent 2023 period (958 cases). 74% of cases are concentrated within Guerrero, Tabasco, Quintana Roo, Veracruz y Colima states.
Dengue in Mauritius
Between 16 January and 10 February 2024, there have been 458 new confirmed cases and two new deaths from dengue. Cumulatively 498 cases of dengue and two deaths have been reported from 11 regions. 91% of the new cases were reported from Port-Louis and Northern regions.

As of 10 February 2024, two locally acquired confirmed dengue cases have been reported in Florida, with onset of symptoms in January 2024.

As of 11 December 2023, a total of 43 locally acquired dengue cases have been reported in mainland France for 2023.

As of 27 November 2023, 82 locally acquired dengue cases have been reported so far in 2023.
Dengue in USA
As of 1 November 2023 a case of locally acquired dengue has been reported in Long Beach. This is the second case reported in California, the first was identified in October 2023 in Pasadena. The Health Department is taking steps to prevent further spread of the virus that causes dengue.

On 11 October 2023, a second case of locally acquired dengue was reported from a different area of Catalonia.
Dengue in Bangladesh
As of 24 September 2023, a total of 187,725 cases, including 909 deaths, had been reported in the country. This makes it the largest outbreak of dengue ever reported in Bangladesh. The outbreak has brought additional pressure on the health system.
Dengue in Peru
As of 26 June 2023, a total of 172,533 dengue cases, with 228 deaths, have now been reported for 2023. A further 74 deaths are under investigation.
Dengue in United States
In November 2022, the first locally acquired case of dengue in Arizona, was confirmed by laboratory testing. Subsequent testing identified the first positive environmental samples in local mosquito populations.
Dengue in Germany ex Spain
As of 28 February 2023, two cases of dengue; one confirmed and one probable, were reported in German residents who travelled to Ibiza in 2022.

Four cases of locally acquired dengue were reported this week in Miami Dade County. In 2022, 63 cases of locally acquired dengue have been reported.
Dengue in Nepal
Between January to 28 September 2022, a total of 28,109 confirmed and suspected dengue cases and 38 deaths have been recorded, affecting all seven provinces. The majority of the cases (23,514) were reported during September.
Dengue in Corsica, France
On 4 October 2022, the Corsican Regional Health Agency reported the first confirmed case of autochthonous (locally acquired) dengue on the island.

As of 14 September 2022, locally acquired cases of dengue have also been reported in Occitania region: Hautes Pyrénées (Rabastens [1 case] and Haute-Garonne (Salvetat Saint Gilles [4 cases]). In the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur (PACA) region cases have been reported in: Alpes Maritimes (Saint Jeannet [14], Gattières [6] and Gaude [1]).
Dengue in Singapore
As of 4 June 2022, a total of 13,133 cases of dengue have been reported so far this year. The weekly number of cases is expected to rise. June is the beginning of the traditional peak dengue season in this country.
Dengue in Brazil
As of 29 April 2022, Dengue serotype 2 has been detected in Brazil for the first time in a sample taken from a dengue case in November 2021. PAHO states DEN 1, 2 and 4 serotypes have been detected. Health officials clarify that the new lineage is not related to the large number of dengue cases reported in the state.
Dengue in Timor-Leste
In 2022 and as of 29 March, 3,713 cases including 44 deaths have been reported. This is an increase of 1,715 cases and 14 deaths since 12 February 2022.
Dengue in Pakistan
From 1 January to 25 November 2021, a total of 48,906 cases including 183 deaths have been reported from four provinces (Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Balochistan) plus the federally administered Islamabad Capital Territory and Azad Jammu and Kashmir autonomous territories. As of 25 November, Punjab province reported the highest number of cases with 24,146 cases and 127 deaths. The deaths were mainly reported from Lahore district.
