Dengue in USA
On 9 September 2024, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health reported a locally acquired dengue case in a resident of Baldwin Park. The case had no history of travel to areas where dengue is endemic. It is the third case of locally acquired dengue in California and the first reported by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.

Dengue in France
As of 4 September 2024, France has reported 32 locally aquired cases of dengue since the beginning of the year. Cases have been reported from the following regions Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur (27 cases), Occitania (3 cases) and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (2 cases).
Dengue in Italy
On 22 August 2024, the provincial health authorities have reported the first locally-acquired case of dengue in the municipality of Albinea, Reggio Emilia province. The case had not reported any foreign travel, however lives with family members that have recently returned from travel in East Asia.
Dengue in Mexico
As of 25 August 2024, a total of 257,175 cases (41,923 confirmed and 215,252 suspected) have been reported since the beginning of the year. During the same time period in 2023, a total of 59,037 cases were recorded. DENV-3 is the predemoninant serotype, followed by DENV-2, DENV-1 and DENV-4.
Dengue in Colombia
As of 10 August 2024, a total of 243,146 cases of dengue have been reported since the beginning of the year. This represents a significant increase in the reporting of dengue cases compared to the last few years. All four dengue serogroups (DENV1-4) are in circulation.

Dengue in French Polynesia
Between 27 November 2023 and 9 August 2024, a total of 110 cases (including 10 probable cases) have been reported. Both DENV-1 and DENV-2 have been circulating. Of those serotypes sampled, 70 percent were identified as DENV-2.

As of 3 August 2024, a total of 18 cases of locally acquired dengue have been reported in Florida for 2024. 11 cases have been confirmed as DENV-3 virus, four cases have been confirmed as DENV-1 virus, with three cases due to an unknown dengue serotype.

As of 26 July 2024, a total of 11,403 dengue cases, and 16 deaths, have been reported since the beginning of 2024. DENV-1, DENV-2 and DENV-3 viruses have been identified in the country.
Dengue in Honduras
As of 26 July 2024, a total of 58,270 dengue cases, and 26 deaths, have been reported since the beginning of 2024. DENV-1, DENV-2 and DENV-3 viruses have been identified in the country.

As of 4 July, a total of 36,246 dengue fever cases, including 37 deaths, have been reported in 2024.

As of 12 July 2024, 5,142 cases (631 confirmed; 4,51 suspected) and six deaths of dengue fever have been reported from ten of the eleven regions in Mali. Two serotypes (DENV-1 and DENV-3) were detected among confirmed cases.
Dengue in Togo
As of 28 June 2024, Togo has recorded 197 dengue fever cases since May 7, 2024. The cases were mainly reported in the Lomé health district. This is the first reported dengue fever outbreak in Togo.

During 2023, locally acquired cases of dengue were confirmed within the United Arab Emirates.
Dengue in Guatemala
As of 16 June 2024, 27,951 dengue cases and 10 deaths have been reported in 2024, an increase of 516% compared to the same period in 2023. DENV-1, DENV-2, DENV-3 and DENV-4 viruses have been identified in the country.
Dengue in Dominican Republic
As of 16 June 2024, 8,790 dengue cases (no deaths) have been reported in 2024, an increase of 442% compared to the same period in 2023.
Dengue in Italy ex Egypt
As of 10 June 2024, a total of three imported dengue cases have been reported in Italy, with the serotype confirmed as DENV-2 in all three cases. The travellers visited the resort of Sharm El-Sheik for a short holiday in May 2024.

Dengue in Australia
On 11 June 2024, the Queensland Health Department reported at least 39 suspected dengue cases (8 confirmed) in the Torres and Cape region. The serotype is reported to be DENV-3 in at least five of the confirmed cases.
Dengue in Burkina Faso
As of 28 April 2024, a total of 174,356 dengue cases, and 780 deaths, have been reported since the beginning of 2023. DENV-1, DENV-2 and DENV-3 viruses have been identified in the country.
Dengue in Cape Verde
As of 14 April 2024, a total of 1,127 dengue cases (with no deaths), have been reported. DENV-1 and DENV-3 viruses have been detected. Currently DENV-3 is the most common type with DENV-1 only identified in the municipality of Praia.
Dengue in Argentina
As of 18 May 2024, a total of 675,806 dengue cases have been reported in 2024. Of the three circulating dengue virus serotypes identified DENV-2 and DENV-1 account for more than 99.9% of cases with a few cases of DENV-3 also detected.
Dengue in Mauritius
As of 28 April 2024, a total of 7,177 dengue cases and 15 deaths have been reported since the initial outbreak started in December 2023. Currently only DENV-2 serotype has been identified.
Dengue in Samoa
As of 20 May 2024, the Samoan authorities have reported a total of 388 laboratory confirmed dengue cases since November 2023.

Ecuador reported 23,234 cases of dengue between 1 January 2024 and 26 April 2024, representing an increase of 371% compared to the same period in 2023. The cumulative incidence rate as of 26 April 2024 is 130 cases per 100,000 population.

Paraguay reported 246,509 cases of dengue between 1 January 2024 and 26 April 2024, representing an increase of more than 1,800% compared to the same period in 2023. The cumulative incidence rate as of 26 April 2024 is 3,263 cases per 100,000 population.
Dengue in Peru
Peru reported 173,706 cases between 1 January 2024 and 26 April 2024, representing an increase of 357% compared to the same period in 2023. The cumulative incidence rate as of 26 April 2024 is 521 cases per 100,000 population.

Brazil reported 5,542,348 cases between 1 January 2024 and 3 May 2024, representing an increase of 371% compared to the same period in 2023. The cumulative incidence rate to 3 May 2024 is 2,590 cases per 100,000 population.

On 11 October 2023, a second case of locally acquired dengue was reported from a different area of Catalonia.
Dengue in Bangladesh
As of 24 September 2023, a total of 187,725 cases, including 909 deaths, had been reported in the country. This makes it the largest outbreak of dengue ever reported in Bangladesh. The outbreak has brought additional pressure on the health system.
