Between 1 January to 16 October 2023, there have been 58 cases of dengue in the provinces of Lodi (30 cases), Latina (2 cases) and Rome (25 cases) and in Anzio (1 case).

As of 25 September 2023, there are 36 confirmed cases of dengue transmitted locally in Italy in the provinces of Lodi (25 confirmed cases), Latina (2 cases) and in the province of Rome (9 cases). All cases, whose outcome is known, have recovered or are improving.

As of 26 August 2023, four autochthonous dengue fever cases have been detected since the first week of August in Lombardy (3 cases) and Lazio (1 case) regions. These were reported to ECDC by Italian public health authorities on 18, 21 and 24 August 2023.
