Lassa fever in Nigeria
As of 20 April 2018, WHO advises that from 1 January to 15 April 2018, a total of 1,849 suspected cases have been reported: 413 confirmed, nine probable, 1,422 negative and were classified as non cases, and five with laboratory results are pending. 114 deaths have been reported. 27 health workers have been infected since 1 January 2018, with eight deaths.
