Lassa fever in Nigeria
As of 16 April 2023, a total of 4,702 suspected, 5 probable and 877 confirmed cases of Lassa fever have been reported since the start of the year. Among the confirmed cases, there have been 152 deaths. Cases have been reported from 101 local government areas, in 26 out of 36 states, including the Federal Capital Territory.
